The stock of finely figured burl wood as found on kris scabbards. Plain brass barrel bands. Lock of forged elements including external main spring qualifying it as a miquelet, and external trigger mechanism. The cock with one piece jaw requiring the flint to be secured with hide lace. Lock pitted but sound. Barrel bright but for superficial pitting at the breech. Left side of the stock with pitch covering at the breech. Original bear (?)skin lock cover intact. Very rare.
