20 1/2” length. Curved circular section tapered blade with split wood rails supporting rows of descending size shark teeth secured with twisted sennit. 23 opposing pairs, 46 teeth, with 31 complete and several more partially intact. Exceptional preservation for the period. The base with a twisted sennit and split cane basket weave segment above a sennit band, evidently about an inch longer originally. Flared butt grip shows glossy patina from handling and use. Very rare.
