Small rudimentary even crude, example as was produced in the field. 32" length. Cut from a limb and field shaped with a knife. Well shaped nocks and twisted plant fiber string. Sound and soiled from age. Complete and undamaged. Fine example of Indian ingenuity. Bows such as this were surely made as needed depending upon circumstances, but like so many ethnographic artifacts, ignored by early collectors relegating the vast majority to discard and destruction. Much rarer that the larger more stereotypical examples.
