Early 19th century. 24 1/4" length for shooting from horseback. Flaked stone point of rounded triangular form. Scraped wood shaft with shallow V nock and triple feather fletching secured with sinew. Head and wrap sound and undamaged. Haft soiled but excellent. The fletching near complete but pulled away from the shaft. The horse was fully integrated into Plains Indian life by the 18th century though, contact otherwise was very limited.
