Late 18th century-1800. Classic form, 21 5/8” length with 12 1/2” barrel, gracefully flared from the middle to the muzzle and thickened breech. The top decorated near full length in symmetrical foliage (Tree of Life?) and scrolls. The silver worn but mostly quite visible. Walnut stock, with checkered wrist and dummy ramrod. Brass furniture with saddle buckle to the left side. Iconic form.
