Philippine Insurrection capture from the General Harry Bandholtz collection which won first prize at the Saint Louis Exhibition of 1905. Thick diamond section leaf shaped point. Banded brass socket 32" total length. Probably originally longer but definitely used in this length. Showing wear and use including the cut butt, indicating a decade or more of use before its capture and a few nicks to the point. Probably acquired from a Moro owner and reduced for close in fighting by a revolutionary during the 1892 war of independence from Spain.
