Probably dating to the 1910 Revolution. Fine form with 7 3/4” diamond section blade. Flattened ricasso marked MADE IN MEXICO and LIPTON opposite. As Revolutionaries often crossed the border into the US for sanctuary, the “Made in Mexico” motto was displayed, sometimes oversized, to avoid a technical violation. That is shown on the Zapata fighting knives of the period. Note that the stiletto was never made to fight, but only for the clandestine or surprise attack. Excellent throughout.
