Broad band, 5.2mm width, with one raised edge and deep relief decoration overall of figures including clovers and addorsed crescents (mystical meaning now lost). Maker’s mark inside. Worn by sorcerers who practiced pagan religion after the spread of Christianity and into the early Renaissance period.
