9th-10 century AD. Stepped raised square bezel with concentric circle decoration, four surrounding one in regular arrangement of unknown spiritual significance. See Pollio, p.42. 4.5mm rounded face band flared to the shoulders which are decorated with a concentric circle on flared reeded ground. Superior example, probably for a clan leader. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
