850-1050 AD. Bronze, 20.2mm diameter (0.76”) and 14.4mm length (0.68”) of barrel form with medial ridge. Large stringing hole and a smaller transverse hole for attachment of a pendant or connector, as this was part of a large aegis type neck display, perhaps for burial. The 24karat gold surface restored.
