First complete set we have offered in years. Three daggers, a straight bladed example flanked by curved bladed companions. Each with tool finish blade decorated in hatched panels and with Nile crocodile hide wrapped grips. The scabbard body of Nile crocodile hide with the triple projecting sheaths of reptile skin. These are usually encountered incomplete and in deteriorated condition. This example evidently was brought back from the war by an English officer and displayed as the back has a small smear of "manor house paint" which resulted from the repeated painting of the white ceilings of the homes of the wealthy, necessitated by lighting with candles and oil.
