17th-18th century, Orthodox rite. Silvered bronze, over 2 1/4” height. A raised edge cross enclosing a stick cross (no Corpus Christi) with ciphers at the beam terminals. The beam intersections with Baroque architectural embellishment. Reverse flat with Cyrillic inscriptions. Wear from its time of use and the surface textured from burial with detail intact. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver surface restored and on a modern Sterling silver mounted polished leather neck cord for contemporary wear.
