Edo Period, late 18th century. 38 3/8" length. Cane shaft, gilt in the fletch area, dark from age. Finely wrapped tip with willow leaf (yanagiha) form point. Wood nock. The uniform brown fletching with only very slightly tattered. All soundly bound with the spines separated from the shaft due to adhesive failure. Simply re-glue if desired. Wonderful age character combined with superior preservation.
