JAPANESE ARROWHEAD

Mid Edo period C.1750-1800. Large example of willow leaf form. Tapered tang. 8 5/8" total length. Tang lightly rusted and head crisp with mottled patina. Heavy example capable of penetrating the lacquered iron armor of the period.
