Late 19th century. Classic form as used on the Russell skinner as well. The blade form identified as the 3576 which continued in use with a different form grip. This example marked DEXTER?3576. That notation came into use in 1884. Blade marked with the Harrington Cutlery Co Southbridge Mass. mark. The company was established in Southbridge in 1818 where it remained. Well used with abrasions to the grip butt. Blade dark with scattered pitting but not compromised by sharpening and in its original iconic form.
