C.2600-1900 BC. Typical red/buff terra cotta with flat bottom turnip form body, curved tapered neck and expanded angled lip with brown hatched slip pattern. The shoulder with necklace" and chevron decoration matching. Surface lightly textured from burial. Single ancient chip to the lip. 7 3/4" height. A major piece from a culture unknown before about 1920.
