450-50 BC, forged iron, 8 1/2” length along the curve with elegant form wedge section blade, down-curved with slightly upturned tip. The left side with a narrow central fuller, full length. Tapered tang for anchoring in a bone or wood grip. The blade of a thin section specifically designed for slashing and not a work knife. Stable excavated condition with a well-preserved profile.
