Upper left arm protection for use with splints. 5 3/4" height with rolled and roped edge on broad sunk border with raised rib. The bottom with two keyed channels for rotary articulation of the splints. Splints were early (C.1480-1520) articulated plate armor elements which combines to produce arm protection. See Stone p.579.
