Fine silver wire and tape wrapped grip in fine preservation. 29 3/4" concave faced triangular blade decorated with baroque scroll displays flanking PARIS above a figure of the legendary warrior of the Trojan War. It was Paris who wounded Achilles in the heel with an arrow. Excellent throughout for the period. Type carried by military officer's in the field as well as off duty.
