Surface dark with some frosty oxidation toward the point and one small spot at the forte, strictly as expected. Brass hilt with reeded edge boat form guard and plumed helmet pommel. Fine grip of twisted brass wire and copped band with brass turban form terminals. Iconic pattern French officer's sword used throughout the Napoleonic Wars and War of 1812.
