Late 19th-early 20th century. 7 3/8” length. Iron frame with lever release back lock and antler scale grips. The blade with nail groove, etched at the forte with ARMERIA SEVILLA flanking the large Z mark. The balance of the right side with fine etched foliage decoration. The decoration evidently descended from the fine work done in Toledo a decade or two earlier. A particularly good form from this well-known group.
