Ottoman era. Good large old example with 18 1/2” curved wedge section blade decorated with abstracted foliage deeply and crisply engraved. Original congealed preservative over light tool finish on bright surface. Recurved iron guard. Wood hilt and scabbard with white metal wire work and red pigment inlays. Faceted copper base ferrule to the grip. Especially fine uniform aging to the hilt and scabbard.
