11th-12th century of early style with centered cross beam and the beam tips crossed in the Jerusalem Cross fashion used through the Crusades. The tips are further embellished with low domes with concentric circles. The borders extending as “crutches” at the beam terminals describing five crosses in one, known as the Crusader's cross, having been an element in the arms of Godfrey of Bouillon which he wore during the First Crusade. He was made the first King of Jerusalem. For that reason, it is also known as the Jerusalem Cross. Over 1 1/8” height.
