10th-13th century, Andalusia (southern Spain). 2 3/4” length, finely forged with medial ridge one side and flat the other. Long elegant barbs and conical socket. Socket base chipped, otherwise excellent for the period. Dating to the most colorful period for the region, the Reconquista, the retaking from the Moors under the Cordoba Caliphate, by Christians.
