Fine form based on the Prussian model with medially ridged spade shaped point crisply etched with the crowned triple arms of Denmark-Sweden-Norway over the regiment name DET. LOLLANDSKE INFANTERIE REGIMENT. The decoration infilled with gold. Both sides decorated and crisp with the gold strong and virtually complete and tapered socket with triple expansions, threaded for the removable cross bar. The metal crisp with lovely patina having never been rusted or cleaned. 78" overall on its finely grained hardwood haft. See an identical example in the Swedish Army Museum, stock number 049801, acquired by purchase in 1880. This one is as good as they come.
