12 ½” height, straight measure. The dagger with 7” curved medially ridged blade. Of so-called Mecca form with intricately decorated hilt and scabbard including an integral, second example mounted with a flat rudimentary blade, presumably serving as a sharpening steel. The whole made up of literally thousands of intricate silver elements including wire work, piques, pyramidal mounts, rings and more. The primary scabbard tip as a pierced hollow silver minaret. The hilt particularly opulent with elegant broad spiked terminal pommel mounted with four matching spikes to the top and two to the face, flaking the grip. Extraordinary detail and complete. Beautiful contrasting patina resulting from the depth of the relief work. Absolute show stopper and focal point in any setting.
