19th century. 11 3/4" broad fullered blade, gray with s few pitting speckles. Iron cross guard and tang band. Finely inlaid grips of mother of pearl segments divided by twisted wire and red compound matrix. The base with a green jade segment each side and the right side with shaped green jade pommel segment. The corresponding segment for the left side lacking but could be replicated with ebony or synthetic material for an excellent restoration.
