Late 17th century. 27 1/8" length. Detached head of flamboyant form with cusped axe blade and broad candle flame back fluke. Medially ridged spear point with decorative base expansions. Conical socket with base ring and double cheek straps. Rusted overall with some forged lamination showing. See Neumann 55.PA for another example, also detached and rusted. Possibly saw colonial American use.
