WW I. A letter opener made from a rifle bullet with delicately pierced arms of England applied. 6 3/4" length with 4" blade of abstracted form in the Art Nouveau style popular at the time. The royal arms probably cut from a button. Particularly delicately and well made. From Fulbeck Hall, Lincolnshire, England, home of the noble Fane family.
