Victorian period. 4" length. Maroon leather with triple gold bullion bands full length and very fine engraved and gilt buckle, keeper and tongue. Leather dry and deteriorated with a break above the buckle. Fine for Zulu War collection as Maj John Chard who led the defense at Rorkes Drift was a Royal Engineer.
