First half of the 13th century (Sixth or Seventh Crusade). Type discussed by Nicole, p.58.  Just over 3 1/2" length with lapped seam conical socket retaining a portion of the wood shaft.  Tapered bolster to the sharply barbed broadhead point.  In exceptional preservation and professionally conserved. Exceptional example from a collection of javelins of the Medieval period.
