Edo Period, Before 1868. 37 ½” length. Cane shaft with horn nock and red wrap each end. Brown duck primary fletching of the form shown on instruction manuals of the period, secured with black paper wrap. Fine togari form iron head, crisp and quite bright with evidence of laminar construction. Very minor tattering only to the fletching. Have a pair. NB: Japanese arrows from the same set will have shafts from the same cane growth, indicated by identical joint spacing as here.
