19th century. Extraordinary form with two stage blade. The forte with well forged double edged hacking blade and the end with a medially ridged spear point, a curved spirally twisted shaft connecting. Slender copper tape wrapped grip. For a similar example, see Cleveland Museum of Art, #1916-1017. Collected in the late 19th century by Methodist Missionaries, and showing decades of age at that time.
