Mid-18th century. Similar to Neumann p. 152 #19. 8 1/2” length. Slightly domed hand carved base secured with iron (?) pins. Iron suspension loop. Simple ringed spout to set the edge of the muzzle. Wonderful untouched age character with a few minor blemishes to the horn. A simple working horn, thousands of which went to war, but few survived the following two and a half centuries.
