First century AD. 5 1/4" length. Heavy forged seam conical socket with remnants of the shaft remaining. Thick leaf shaped point with medial ridge. Designed to breech Roman armor. A group of 33 examples was discovered in 2002 at South Cave, East Yorkshire. Stable excavated condition.
