Silvered hilt and scabbard. Faux ivory grip with engraved crowned monogram and cross opposite. Scabbard mounts in high relief with a red enameled cross (enamel incomplete) and crusader. 30 1/4" medially ridged blade decorated 2/3 its length with Masonic motifs and Memento Mori (skull and crossed bones) and owner’s name. The ricasso marked Cincinnati Regalia Co, Cincinnati O. A little spotty staining to the blade, strictly superficial. Quality and construction including the decoration consistent with its early manufacture. Good sound high-quality early example with expected superficial degradation only.
