Featuring the most auspicious of symbols! Meiji period, late 19th century. 4 7/8" diameter with translucent red/brown exterior. The interior of olive color darkening to black at the edges. The bowl with a lovely gold (powdered pure gold) crane in flight with a branch in its bill. The top with two similar cranes, each with a different species of branch.
