Heavy rounded face band, 2.5mm. Early form heart bezel, flat and made without the cusped top as later. The cusped top form was used toward the end of the Viking era and the rounded top earlier, with regional exceptions. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature.
