Bronze, over 2 3/8” in length, of elegant form, with good patina. High arched frame with concentric circle decoration and cross banded terminal. Fastened at the shoulder and serving as jewelry as well as a garment fastener. Condition as found. The original garment pin which was patented two millennia later as the “safety pin”.
