Flaked flint, just over 1 1/2” length. Monoface with finely flaked edges, shaped to final form on the flint nodule and broken away with a single blow resulting in the large cleavage on the backside. This example of a modified leaf shape, with the base shaped for better bonding to the shaft. Rare transitional form.
