Early 20 the century made by adapting a commercially produced archery bow. The entire bow stripped and colored with dark natural pigments. Surface dry with a little flaking but no damage. The grip covered with stitched hide. Stitching intact. The hide shrunk by about 15% over time. Twisted raw hide string with a top decoration of a shell disk (broken) and ribbon. The decoration faded and the string dry but fairly supple. Length overall 48 7/8". Great age character and honest adaptation for use.
