Early 19th century. 56 3/4" octagonal barrel with brass haunches forming a rear site at the breech. Bead front sight. 3/4 stock with ivory fore end, ivory butt plate (broken short) and ivory or bone inlays including crescents. No provision for a ramrod. The lock nicely engraved in deep relief and decorated with engraved brass side plates. Good patina throughout and excellent quality for these.
