Second half of the 18th century. Classic elegant form with fish tail butt. The stock sheathed in steel overall, pierced and engraved with a variety of motifs based in the rococo taste. The stock beneath the breech with a fine armorial display of the capped double head eagle of Albania in quartered foliage panel. 46" barrel with cannon muzzle. The breech with a maker's mark and pseudo name. Good patina throughout with crisp detail. Main spring (and probably sear spring) lacking. Readily replaced which will result in a substantial value increase.
