Conventional form with raised rolled neck and arm cuts. Musket ball proof to the left side. Struck at the left neck with TC, the mark of Thomas Carpenter, Master of the Armourer's Company in 1664. Duplex construction with multiple evidence at the rolls and good weld bond evidenced by a clear tone when struck. Accommodation for alignment plates at the waist with a portion of one remaining.
