Original red “patent leather” blade seat. 29 5/8” blade of flattened diamond section with convex forte decorated interlaced baroque ribbons, oval panels with king’s head (Louis XV) and flaming heart, onlinel gilt ground. Excellent with the gold virtually complete. Hilt crisp and excellent as well. The scabbard with near all sanded sharkskin intact (few small losses). The throat mount with the seam opened.
