The entire barrel chiseled in a matrix of lattice with a raised dot in the opening, simulating cobra skin, about 8 1/2 by 20 increments to the inch resulting in about 14,000 separate scales, uniformly and skillfully executed. The breach with large cursive Hindi inscription ISDKAR, probably the name of the owner. 3/4 wood stock with fine pierced and chiseled mounts. Original ramrod with terminal modeled to match the muzzle Excellent for the period with some original preservative to the metal.
