Found in the Hudson River Valley. Two piece iron. 4” wedge section dropped point blade in its iron ferrule. The wood grip perished. Of typical “penny knife” proportions (see Swords and Blades of the American Revolution, Neumann, #46.K) but larger than others we have seen. Used as a patch knife and other duties. Surface rusted but complete as shown.
