Iron hilt with heavy guard comprising forged cup with line bordered edge, broad straight cross guard connected to the cup edge at the quarter points with forged bars and curved knuckle bow. Mushroom form pommel and reeded horn grip. 34 1/8" triple fullered d.e. blade. Untouched with considerable bright finish to the guard and superficial for the period rusting to the pommel and blade.
