Iron hilt of jambiya form decorated in panels of silver koftgari (remnants only remaining). 27 ¼” curved s.e. blade of exaggerated kilij form, with high raised false edge and raised forte. Both sides decorated overall, the forte in armed horseman among animals and a demon. The middle I stylized koranic calligraphy and the point with further calligraphy inhabited by a snake each side. Uniform dark patina.
