Meiji period, 1867-1912. 4” diameter. The bowl of recurved profile on raised foot. The top with marsh and two gold cranes. The underside of the cover with three pairs of conifer needles. A special occasion piece as cranes were auspicious, bringing good fortune and longevity. Excellent.
